Soho Square Park




Soho Square is a square in Soho, London, with a park and garden area at its center that dates back to 1681.  You can see Charles II in the background. A political crisis that followed the death of Cromwell in 1658 resulted in the restoration of the monarchy, and Charles returned from exil to accept the crown.. His father was the Charles I executed at Whitehall in 1649.
Soho is an area of the City of Westminster and part of the West End of London.  It has an area of approximately one spuare mile bounded by Oxford Street to the north, Regent Street to the west, Leicester Square to the south and Charing Cross Road to the east.
