The Palace Theatre is a West End theatre in Soho, now the City of Westminster in London. Many very well known musicals have played here, including Rogers and Hart's The Girl Friend (1927) and Fred Astaire's final stage musical Gay Divorce (1933). The last decades of the 20th Century saw Jesus Christ Superstar and Les Miserables. Priscilla, Queen of the Desert replaced Monty Python's Spamalot in 2009.
