The Munich Residenz (Munich Palace) is the former royal palace of the Bavarian monarchs in the center of the city of Munich. The palace was severely damaged by bombing during World War II, but most of the rooms were reconstructed by the 1980's. Above is a sculpture outside the Residenz.
