The following pictures are from Daniel Libeskind's Jewish Museum. When they were entered I hadn't yet learned how to get the explanation to occur before the pictures. For that reason, it is better to go the last picture in this series and work back up. Libeskind created empty spaces in several parts of the building. These voids represent the absent Jews from German society. The memory void contains this work by Menashe Kadishman, who calls the installation "Fallen Leaves." There are over 10,000 faces covering the floor. They are made of heavy metal and people are invited to walk on them which cretes a terrible sound.
