San Giorgio (seen in the background) is a separate island best known for the Church of San Giorgio Maggiore, designed by Palladio. Tintoretto's "The Last Supper" is on one side of the presbytery and his "The Fall of Manna" is on the other. There are other paintings by Tintoretto throughout the church.
